Students from Joseph M. Gallagher, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Metro Catholic, Halle School, and Waverly School will perform side-by-side with members of The Cleveland Orchestra in a free, community performance to celebrate the music programs in Gordon Square! The Gordon Square Music Showcase will feature the band and choir students from five Gordon Square K-8 schools in a joint performance.

CONCERT PARKING: Parking is available in the lot at Waverly School and on nearby streets. Please enter through the main doors of the school. Directional signage will be posted to locate the concert space.
ADMISSION: The music showcase concert is free and open to all. The event is general admission and seats will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors will open at 3:30 PM.
DESCRIPTION: 2020 marks the second annual Gordon Square Music Showcase, which is a community engagement program of The Cleveland Orchestra’s Neighborhood Partners initiative. The Music Showcase celebrates and raises awareness for the school music programs and sparks more support for music-making in the schools. Leading up to the day of music-making (Saturday, March 7), Cleveland Orchestra musicians will visit each school to coach and mentor the students on their showcase repertoire.
