Each tax season, the Enterprise-led Cuyahoga EITC Coalition provides free, high-quality tax preparation by IRS-certified volunteers for low-income households as an alternative to paid preparation. Northwest Neighborhoods hosts free tax preparation at our Gordon Square Arcade, 6516 Detroit Avenue, each year beginning in January.

In 2019, over 730 tax returns were filed at our location, returning over $1 million to the local economy. New volunteers are welcome to register to join, and no prior experience is required.

The free EITC tax preparation service includes both in-person and drop-off options. You can make your appointment during tax season online or by phone.
